Silver helped him up, tears falling from her bright green eyes. "INCEPTION WE HAVE TO GET OUT OF HERE!!!" she yelped. She felt her own legs start to fall under herself, and she fell face first into nothing but ash. Fire was such a destructive thing.

(S'okay, I'm a bit slow myself. :3)
He panted with exhuastion. But then adredaline began to course through his veins again, powering him to get up. He helped Silver move along, sprinting to the river. Far away, a fire caved in what was once a den. He was completely drained. He collapsed to his flank, blue eyes closing drowsily.

Silver couldn't move. She had a little something sticking out of her rump, and her vision was so blurry she could hardly see Inception's outline. She laid near him, and let her head fall to the ground. She then felt like she was being picked up, and then she was out like a light.

Inception woke up, what seemed like days later. He awoke to his alphess, scarred and burned in several places, deep in sleep as she leaned against him. He sighed. He coiled his tail around them both, tears brimming his azure eyes.

Silver and Inception had been brought to a zoo by some humans. When the wolfess woke, she first saw only Inception, and she smiled. Then she looked around, and saw bars. "Where are we?"

He watched as she awoke. Thta's when he really took a look around. Bars surrounded them, cold and steely. He whimpered quietly. "Silver....I don't know.."

Silver looked around, and sighed. She got up, and tried to walk to the edge to look around outside the pen, but got a pang of pain through her body, and fell on her face. "What happened?" she asked, getting up.

He watched silently as she ran straight into the silver bars that jutted out of the tops and bottom of the small housing pen, supporting it. "We're trapped. Silver, look. There's bars. Everywhere you look..."

Silver growled, and said; "We will get out of here." Then her head went back in an agitated howl, and she kept running into the strong bars, trying to break free. Soon her head started to bleed from so many impacts, but she didn't care. She wasn't going to let Inception live in this slop, not like this, not since she knew what happened to wolves in cages like these. She should know; it happened to her.

Inception growled at himself with frustration. "Silver, stop." He threw his frame in front of her, holding her back. His pale azure eyes looked at the head injuries. "Silver, stop.." He murmured softer now. He rasped his tongue over the bleeding head injuries.

Silver winced a bit when she stopped, and started crying. She felt like she had gotten them into this, because it wasn't a few days before she had started her little pack that she had escaped from one of these prisons just the same as this one. She sat there, ignoring her head wounds. "I'm so sorry, Inception..." she whispered.

"Please, don't be sorry." He spoke softly, barely a whisper. He nuzzled his neck against the top of her head. "It will be okay... I'll get us out of here somehow." He gazed off into the distance, thinking of how exactly he was going to get them out.

Silver nuzzled up against him, then stiffened as she heard/saw humans come up to the cage. She growled at them, then felt a rock against her head. She whimpered, but was so used to it, it didn't even hurt that much, even with her wound. She had hated growing up in this place. She never knew the name for it, and didn't want to. She never wanted anyone to know about where she came from. She had to tell Inception. She knew how to get out, but it was so life threatening, she didn't want to do it. "Inception, I have to tell you something about my past, something I never wanted anyone else to know.." she said, ignoring the other humans that came up to them.

He watched as the extremely inhumane species wolves registered as 'humans' came and pelted them with rocks. He tensed, his stance opposive. His teeth were bared, a deep growl emerging from his trachea. He stopped abrubtly with the familiar voice of Silver speaking behind him. He saw a trickle of blood dribble down her sleek silver fur. "What is it, Silv?"

"I grew up in these cages. I was not born wild like you. I don't even know who my parents where because they took me to a different zoo when I was old enough to eat whole chunks of meat. A few days before I started the pack, I escaped from these bars of torture." she said, her head bent over, looking at her paws. "It's very dangerous, and I nearly died getting out, but I honestly think it's the only way." she said, her heart beating so loudly she could have sworn even the humans could hear it. She then looked up at her friend. "That's why I'm such a horrible huntress and warrior. That's why I'm afraid other pack members wouldn't take me seriously." she explained. She then looked at the humans again, and sighed. "You won't be able to make them stop, you know." she informed as a rock hit her behind the ear.
